Our Tours

• Alpine Express – 2-Hour Tour: Ideal for beginner riders and families with children, our 2-hour tour gives you an exciting taste of the Rockies.
• Mountain Maverick – Half Day Tour: Perfect for those wanting a taste of adventure, morning or afternoon starts are available for our half-day tours. Lunch is available for morning tours.
• Summit Supreme – Full Day Tour: Experience all the views, history, and exploration our location has to offer. Lunch is included.

What to Expect

• Expert Guides: All tours are led by professional guides who ensure your safety while sharing insights about the history of Camp Hale and the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
• Your Snowmobile: As a single rider, enjoy the power of the four-stroke Renegade Sport 600. If you are doubling up, ride in comfort and enjoy heated handle grips for both the driver and passenger with the four-stroke Grand Touring Sport 600.

• Machine Gun Ridge: A must-visit destination offering panoramic views of the Gore and Sawatch Range. This ridge, named for its connection to Camp Hale’s military history, combines breathtaking scenery with a sense of adventure and historical significance.
• Resolution Mountain: Known for its towering elevation and sweeping views of Elk Mountain and beyond, this high-altitude point is a highlight for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
• Ptarmigan Pass: Ride to this serene alpine pass, where wide-open landscapes and unspoiled snowfields create an otherworldly experience. Nestled between the surrounding peaks, Ptarmigan Pass offers stunning views of the Sawatch Range and a true sense of Colorado wilderness.

What to Bring

To stay warm and comfortable, please bring:

• Winter jacket, snow pants, and snow boots (if you have your own)
• Gloves or mittens, goggles, and a neck gaiter or scarf
• Layered clothing and heavy socks

If you’re missing any gear, don’t worry! We offer rentals:

• Goggles and gloves: $5.00 each
• Full-body snow suits: $30.00 each

Book Your Adventure

Whether you’re a seasoned snowmobiler or a first-timer, Nova Guides offers an experience unlike any other. Ages 16 and older with a valid driver’s license can drive their own snowmobile. We recommend passengers be 9 years and older. Listed times are door-to-door times from the Vail and Beaver Creek area.
