SPRING BREAK SNOWMOBILING!

The days are getting longer, snow continues to fall and the villages of Beaver Creek and Avon are bustling.  Lifts are open later, après is filled with Skiers soaking in sunshine and cocktails on the numerous decks both on and off the mountain, and concerts are in full swing.  Spring has arrived!

Vail and Beaver Creek have long been known for their fantastic ski runs, lively villages and luxurious accommodations.  Amazing dining and more activities than one can count or experience on a single trip await guests who visit.   All of this adds up to a once in a lifetime Spring Break Vacation to the Heart of the Rocky Mountains.

While many guests who visit our mountains in the spring crave morning to night skiing, there are a multitude of activities that can take you off of the slopes for an incredible experience. Snowmobiling has long been a sought after adventure for guests, especially for those who want to experience the mountain in a different light.  Nova Guides offers these experiences like no other.

With two locations to choose from there is something to offer everyone, from the kids to grandparents there are activities abound. Our Tigiwon location is a short five-mile drive from Beaver Creek, Vail, and Avon! It’s the perfect tour for someone looking to accomplish more than   one activity in a day. Tigiwon snowmobile tours are family friendly trail rides. Did you know kids eight and under are free?

As the days continue to increase, we are thrilled to offer our latest tour at our Tigiwon Location, the late afternoon sunset tour. Guests can ski and snowmobile in the same day! Although words can paint a picture, there is nothing like experiencing a True Rocky Mountain Sunset. The alpenglow as the last rays of light mingle with crisp mountain air creates colors like you can only imagine.  When you view this after a fantastic snowmobile experience at 10,500 feet, while snacking on fresh baked cookies and hot chocolate, you feel like you are standing on top of the world! As you snowmobile back to the base of the mountain, the serene beauty of dusk allows you to finish your trip with a sense of fulfillment that you didn’t know you craved.

Camp Hale is our other location, located a few more miles down highway 24, these three hour tours cannot be beat! Perfect for the person looking to experience the Colorado back country in its true

form. Our trail system spans across 55,000 acres and reaches elevations of 12,500 feet! These tours are called our Top of the Rockies tours for a reason, there is no explanation necessary.

Do not forget to reserve a Nova Guides’ snowmobile tour for your family and friends while planning your spring break trip to the Vail Valley. It is the ideal experience to compliment your trip. Soak in majestic mountain vistas under the strength of the spring sun and strikingly blue skies. Make this a trip no one is soon to forget!
